Our company’s custom-made product, the Face Mask for Athletes, has been successfully tested once again!

This time, researchers from the Mechanical Engineering and Design Faculty of Kaunas University of Technology have conducted extensive mechanical tests on the mask. They aimed to evaluate the face mask’s resistance and ability to protect the face during a direct impact. The research was conducted in several stages to investigate the mask’s resistance and strength in detail.

During the initial mask tests, a compressive force up to 600 N was applied at characteristic points (nose and cheekbones) and the change between the 9 control points was measured. In the second stage, the mask was subjected to a load up to the initial splitting, thus establishing the load limit the face mask can withstand. A mock-up of a face corresponding to the human anatomy of a face was used in the tests to simulate the mask on the face.

The main results and conclusions of the study are:

– The face mask can withstand a load of up to 600 N without obvious deformation.

– Under higher loads, the mask did not break under a force of up to 1000 N, which is proof of its resistance.

– An additional protective layer inside the mask protects the face from possible damage even if the mask breaks.

– The mask effectively protects the nose from compressive forces and has safe construction.

We are grateful to the KTU researchers for this detailed and objective product analysis. We always seek to ensure that our products are not only functional and effective, but also safe for users. This study reaffirms that our custom-made face mask for athletes is high quality and meets high safety standards.
