This case involved helping our client — an orthopaedic company — solve a very specific
challenge for their patient: a woman with drop foot after an accident. Before the injury,
heeled shoes were part of her work, lifestyle, and identity.

A custom AFO was adapted for heeled footwear, including one version covered in foam
and leather to blend more naturally with the leg. The solution was tested in practice, and
video evidence showed that this type of AFO and heeled shoe combination is possible.
